Tottenham Court Road underground tiling at the platform. Wow I didn't remember seeing this last time, but then I probably wasn't looking for a good photo. What a lovely bit of work. Well done whoever created it. You have to go to this stop just to stand and admire!
Underground signs at platform level, on arrival from Watford on the Metropolitan Line. I thought that this was kind of English querky at it's best. Two signs right next to each other, one on a bench one on the wall. Cool!! Sherlock where are you?
An old English Telephone Box in Central London, I wonder how many people actually open the door to go in and make a call these days. I am glad of new technology but then sad too that these pieces of architectural street furniture become disused, abused and then finally removed.
I came across this statue in the foyer of St Patrick's Church Soho Square, the hustle and bustle of the street was gone in a moment as I stepped through the doors and saw this.
This Church is located somewhere between Charing Cross Road & High Holborn. I wandered around so many streets that day that I cannot quite remember where I was, but I think these are a gorgeous example of bi-gone workmanship!
